As AI technologies became more sophisticated, we saw an interesting possibility where we could provide personalized gift suggestions based on the recipient’s actual preferences. Unlike a traditional listicle with static suggestions, an AI-powered tool could deliver recommendations tailored to each receiver’s personality and interests.
Thus, began our experiments with various AI models to create a recommendation engine to bridge the gap between the receiver and the gift they are waiting for. Our major task was determining what information would help the recommendation system generate the best gift suggestions. This led to our 6-step approach that asks just the right questions to uncover meaningful gift ideas without overwhelming you as a gift-giver.
And we know we’re just getting started! Our Asana dashboard is filled with constantly refining our AI model, enhancing the user experience, ideating for new features, and expanding our gift vendor partnerships. And yes, a mobile app is on our roadmap, too! All this while single-mindedly focused on our mission: making gift-giving less stressful and more rewarding by connecting you with presents that truly matter.
